Things To Do While Waiting for EB3 Visa Interview

2 essential items that needs to be accomplished before you receive your interview letter.

So you already lodge your EB3 application and have a priority date, congratulations! You are almost at the end of your process to immigrate to the US! But first, here are the things you need to prepare:

1. IELTS

2. Visa Screen

The list is in order, IELTS is a requirement for the visa screen. The vendors I used are British Council and CGFNS. Processing the visa screen after you passed IELTS within a year is best since the test results are only valid for 2 years but the visa screen is 5 years. I waited for my interview date for almost a little over 2 years after I lodge my EB3 application. Once you receive the email from the US embassy it will be straightforward from there. The email will contain your appointment date and time. It will also include the list of required items for your interview and visa screen is one of them. It will also contain instructions on how to accomplish your medical. Make sure you check your email frequently. Believe it, you are almost there!

The wait is long but you can almost grasp it. So keep on!
