How I was able to pass NCLEX on the first try.

I didn't really aim to finish the test on the 75th item but I did! Turns out this is the ulitimate number to aim for, the standard they might say. But honestly no one will know what number your computer shuts off and I don't think a lot of people will care. Your patients and the company for sure won't ask that. At the end of the day, what is needed is a passing score and a license to practice.
So here is how I prepared for my NCLEX exam.
Comprehensive Review, 3-12 months
UWorld, 1 month
I alotted 2 hours a day 5 days a week for 8 months. I used Saunders Comprehensive reviewer a book or a photocopy of the original book. I purchased for 300 pesos outside of PRC Manila in a "stall" with no roof but has wheels or kariton and butchered so it can fit in my office bag. I have to rip it per chapter and skim through the whole topic to answer all the questions at the end plus check the rationale. Ok, how I bought the book was sketchy and not advisable.
A month before my exam I purchased UWorld, their platform is an actual simulation of the NCLEX exam. I like how the review is structured, you will get a test before you start your review so they can assess where you are at in you knowledge and make recommendations how to study. Their assessments checks your readiness and gives you a percentage of how you will do in the actual exam. For this last step on my review, I focused on how to read and answer the questions, how I could improve my skills in attacking each different type of NCLEX questions.
If you are crunch on the time aspect, I recommend just focusing on UWorld.
It sounds easy reading about how I did it now, but it is constant discipline really. Being able to say no to friends because I have to prioritize my review and sleep. To wake up and finish work on time because I have a schedule to follow and not hit Manila traffic. I also have a solid support system who listens and prays for me. So I guess, it is a lot of discipline and lots of prayers as well.
Shout out to my friends who understands why I can't go or join and didn't take it against me. To my VG in Molino and Taft, you are all a gem to be around every weekend. To my mother who is my pure motivation not to fail (because perfection is the standard for her only daughter, lol) and for "always" praying for me. Love you Mama!
Always, in gratitude.
